Way back in 1999 Jeremy moved from Aruba to The Netherlands to study environmental science. Very early on in his life he became fascinated with the link between nature and business. Back in 1999 he was inspired by Natural Capitalism. Shortly after this he fell in love with the concept of Biomimicry.
In 2002 he came across the Cradle To Cradle paradigm which also inspired him. In 2010 the Blue Economy theory enriched his perspective on achieving sustainability. Jeremy sees the Circular Economy as the next evolutionary step in Sustainability Theory.Inspired by another book "The Zeronauts" (John Elkington, 2012) Jeremy launched the Zer0 Waste 2030 program in 2014 for the biggest airport in The Netherlands. From then on he was (and still is) busy everyday with implementing circular economy projects and business development. Today the biggest airport in The Netherlands is a global leader in the circular economy.
